A dedicated concentrate supply
A storage vessel connected to the project’s selected foam proportioning equipment.
The photograph shows a horizontal tank labelled 1,500 L. Capacity, orientation, materials, dimensions and connections are specified for each order.
FROZENFIRE · FOAM CONCENTRATE STORAGE
Dedicated storage. A considered system connection.
A stainless-steel storage tank for firefighting foam concentrate, available in horizontal or vertical configurations. Select the capacity, construction and connections to suit the foam proportioning system.
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The Frozenfire Foam Concentrate Tank stores the concentrate used by a foam fire-protection system. Its filling, outlet, drain and vent connections support replenishment, concentrate supply and routine inspection.
The catalogue covers capacities from 100 to 25,000 litres, with custom sizes available. Horizontal and vertical layouts, stainless-steel material selection, protective lining, instrumentation and mounting are configured around the project.
During system activation, concentrate is drawn through the outlet and supplied to the selected proportioning equipment. That equipment mixes it with water before the solution reaches monitors, nozzles, chambers, pourers or sprinklers.

Typical, model-dependent catalogue data. Capacity, thickness, design pressure, lining and connections must be confirmed for the ordered tank. The catalogue does not state a numeric pressure rating or a named design-code certification.
CONSTRUCTION & ACCESSORIES
Review the vessel, connections, inspection access and instrumentation as a complete tank arrangement.
SS 304 / 316 construction, with SS 316L also listed in the product features. Material and wall thickness follow the selected design.
Epoxy or a chemical-resistant internal lining, with red epoxy primer and polyurethane external top coat or a specified alternative. Confirm concentrate compatibility.
A flanged or threaded fill connection, flanged concentrate outlet and threaded or flanged drain connection.
A bolted manhole provides inspection access. The atmospheric vent supports pressure equalisation and must remain clear.
A level gauge is listed, with an electronic level transmitter available as an option. Confirm the instrumentation supplied.
Floor or skid mounting, lifting lugs and a nameplate. Final supports and connection positions follow the approved tank arrangement.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
The tank supplies concentrate; the selected proportioning equipment prepares the foam solution.
The tank holds the specified firefighting concentrate and protects it from contamination through controlled filling and storage.
The selected system draws concentrate from the tank outlet to a compatible proportioning device.
The proportioner mixes concentrate with water at the specified concentration. Foam solution then travels to the selected discharge equipment.
The catalogue cites typical proportioning concentrations of 1%, 3% or 6%. The concentration is set by the selected concentrate and proportioning equipment; the storage tank itself does not perform the mixing.
CONFIGURATION & ENQUIRIES
Bring together the required concentrate volume, installation space and interfaces with the foam system.
Specify required storage volume, horizontal or vertical layout, available footprint, access clearances and mounting arrangement.
Share the concentrate type and manufacturer, storage recommendations, stainless-steel grade, lining and project design requirements.
Confirm the proportioning system, fill/outlet/drain sizes and positions, vent arrangement, level indication and any electronic transmitter.
Include quantity, delivery location and any drawings or documentation required for your project.
OPERATION
Catalogue guidance for use with the approved tank and foam-system operating procedure.
Check for damage, corrosion and leakage; verify secure connections, concentrate level, level indication and correct valve positions. Keep the vent clear and confirm the drain valve is closed.
Use the filling connection and prevent contamination by water, dirt or other foreign material. Avoid overfilling, secure the filling connection and verify the level.
Activate the selected proportioning system in accordance with the operating procedure and monitor the concentrate level during extended use.
After use, inspect valves and connections, clean any spills, record concentrate consumption and replenish as required. Isolate the tank when maintenance is necessary.
APPLICATIONS
Application areas identified in the catalogue. Select the concentrate, tank and proportioning arrangement for the protected hazard.
INSPECTION & MAINTENANCE
Catalogue inspection intervals should be incorporated into the facility’s approved maintenance programme and the concentrate manufacturer’s storage recommendations.
