FROZENFIRE · MANUAL HVLR RANGE
High volume. Long range. Manual control.
A handwheel-operated water and foam monitor with fixed or variable flow nozzle options, a flanged inlet and five catalogue-listed monitor sizes from 50 to 150 mm.
Flow and pressure are separate catalogue entries and depend on the model and nozzle. Confirm the required flow at the available supply pressure.
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The Frozenfire HVLR (High Volume Long Range) Foam Monitor provides manual directional control of water and foam-solution discharge. Its flanged base connects to the fire-water installation, while two handwheels control horizontal rotation and elevation.
The range covers fixed and variable flow Aqua Foam nozzles. Body, swivel and nozzle materials can be selected from the catalogue options to suit the installation. The final nozzle determines the available stream pattern and flow selection.
Five monitor references are listed from 50 to 150 mm, with model-table flows from 250 to 2000 GPM. Review the individual model table, nozzle options and project duty together when selecting the assembly.
Manual worm gear mechanisms position the monitor horizontally and vertically.
Select the Aqua Foam nozzle arrangement for the required discharge and available water supply.
The selected nozzle shapes a water or foam-solution stream into the required discharge pattern.

| FIL/HVLR/150/WFM | 150 | 2000 | 70 | 60 |
Performance selection: page 5 lists water-jet distances of 45–70 m and foam throws of 35–60 m. Page 6 separately states a maximum of up to 120 m, depending on nozzle and pressure, without assigning it to a listed model. Confirm the selected model’s throw and test conditions before specifying performance.
AQUA FOAM NOZZLE OPTIONS
Fixed flow provides a predetermined discharge. Variable flow offers the selectable settings listed for the nozzle. Source: catalogue page 2.

| Nozzle type | Nozzle size (mm) | Flow options (GPM) |
|---|---|---|
| Fixed flow | 50 / 63 / 75 / 100 / 150 | 250–2000 |
| Variable flow | 75 | 500 / 750 |
| Variable flow | 100 | 500 / 750 / 1000 |
| Variable flow | 150 | 1000 / 1500 / 2000 |
The fixed-flow row describes the overall range; it does not assign every flow to every nozzle size. Confirm the selected nozzle and matching monitor connection.

CONSTRUCTION & COMPONENTS
The main components described in the catalogue. Material and finish options are shown in the specifications.
| Parameter | Specification |
|---|---|
| Monitor waterway | Heavy-duty body with a streamlined internal waterway |
| Direction control | Horizontal swivel and vertical elevation mechanisms |
| Manual drive | Independent stainless-steel handwheels and precision worm gear drive |
| Moving components | Stainless-steel shafts and bearings; low-friction sealing arrangement |
| Connections | Flanged inlet; flanged or threaded nozzle outlet, according to the selected assembly |
| Position holding | Locking arrangement for monitor positioning |
| Drainage and hardware | Drain valve and stainless-steel fasteners |
WORKING PRINCIPLE
Manual controls position the monitor. The selected nozzle determines the stream and flow arrangement.
Pressurised water or premixed foam solution enters through the flanged inlet and passes through the monitor waterway.
The operator uses the independent handwheels to set horizontal direction and vertical elevation.
The selected nozzle forms a straight jet, fog pattern or foam discharge. Pattern and flow options depend on the fitted nozzle.
APPLICATIONS
