Two connections, one hydrant point
The twin-outlet body provides connections for two firefighting hose lines from a shared inlet.

Product photographs show a representative configuration. Confirm the selected material and connections with your quotation.
HYDRANT VALVES · TYPE B
Two outlets. Independent control.
A twin-outlet hydrant valve with independent handwheel control for each connection. Operate one hose line or both lines simultaneously from a single hydrant point.
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The double headed hydrant valve provides two independently controlled outlets in one assembly. Each outlet has its own handwheel, allowing one or both hose lines to operate from the same hydrant point.
This arrangement supports flexible hose deployment in industrial firewater networks. Each hose connects through a 63 mm instantaneous female coupling. The catalogue lists gunmetal or stainless steel construction with stainless steel stems and neoprene rubber washers.
The twin-outlet body provides connections for two firefighting hose lines from a shared inlet.
A separate handwheel for each outlet allows one line or both lines to operate as required.
Both 63 mm female coupling outlets support direct connection of compatible firefighting hose couplings.
The dual-line arrangement supports firefighting operations at industrial facilities with multiple hose requirements.

APPLICATIONS
A twin-outlet arrangement for industrial and higher-hazard occupancies where two independently controlled hose connections are required.
OPERATING PRINCIPLE
Each outlet has an individual handwheel. One or both outlets may be operated, subject to the firewater system’s available supply.
The valve is normally closed. Connect a compatible firefighting hose to the instantaneous female outlet.
Rotating the handwheel lifts the valve disc from its seat, allowing pressurised water to pass through the outlet into the hose.
Rotating the handwheel in the opposite direction returns the disc to its seat to stop the discharge.
This is an overview of the operating principle. Use the applicable site procedures for commissioning, operation and maintenance.
INSPECTION & MAINTENANCE
The catalogue recommends periodic inspection of the body, operating mechanism, seals and hose connection.
