PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Designed as a water discharge point within a fire hydrant network, the single headed valve brings the shut-off mechanism and hose connection together in one compact assembly. Connect the hose at the instantaneous outlet and use the handwheel to control the valve.
The catalogue specifies gunmetal or stainless steel construction, a stainless steel stem and neoprene rubber washers. Precision-machined seating supports positive shut-off, while the capped outlet keeps the hose connection protected when the valve is not in use.

OPERATING PRINCIPLE
From connection to closure.
The single outlet is controlled by its handwheel.
Connect
The valve is normally closed. Connect a compatible firefighting hose to the instantaneous female outlet.
Open
Rotating the handwheel lifts the valve disc from its seat, allowing pressurised water to pass through the outlet into the hose.
Close
Rotating the handwheel in the opposite direction returns the disc to its seat to stop the discharge.
