PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Foam solution.
Water-powered airflow.

The HX Mini combines a water-driven fan with foam-solution spray nozzles and a stainless-steel mesh to produce high-expansion foam. Its portable cylindrical assembly includes a carrying handle and tubular support legs for positioning at the selected installation.

The catalogue pairs the generator with a 225 LPM inline inductor and lists typical proportioning of 3% or 6%. Foam concentrate, proportioning and air supply must be matched to the application. The basic fan drive requires no electrical supply.

01

Water-powered airflow

A water-driven fan supplies the airflow needed for foam generation.

02

Portable stainless-steel assembly

SS 304 housing with a carrying handle and stable tubular supports; SS 316 is optional.

03

Duct arrangement

A polythene foam duct is listed, with an optional collapsible duct for smoke-exhaust service.

OPERATION

Prepare the system.
Establish the foam discharge.

Catalogue guidance used with the approved fire-protection system procedures and selected foam concentrate.

  1. 01

    Inspect & position

Inspect the housing, mesh, fan and inlet coupling. Position on a stable, level surface with the air intake clear and the discharge directed as required by the system plan.

  2. 02

    Connect the equipment

Connect the water supply, matching foam proportioning equipment and selected duct arrangement. Check secure coupling engagement.

  3. 03

    Establish the flow

Open the water supply slowly, allow the water-driven fan to operate and introduce compatible foam concentrate through the induction system.

  4. 04

    Check foam discharge

Verify continuous foam generation and follow the approved response plan for the protected area.

  5. 05

    Flush & drain

Stop concentrate induction and flush with clean water. Shut off the supply and relieve pressure before disconnecting; drain and inspect before storage.

CONFIGURATION & ENQUIRIES

Specify the complete
operating arrangement.

Confirm the generator, proportioning, connections and installation together.

01

Foam selection

The catalogue lists high-expansion, synthetic high-expansion, AFFF high-expansion and protein high-expansion concentrates where applicable. Confirm the exact formulation and required concentration.

02

Inductor & coupling

Specify the matching 225 LPM inline inductor and 63 mm / 2½″ connection arrangement. Confirm supplied accessories and available water pressure.

03

Material & duct

Select SS 304 or optional SS 316 construction. Confirm the polythene foam duct and whether the optional smoke-exhaust duct is required.
