FROZENFIRE · MEDIUM EXPANSION
Medium expansion. 1,100 LPM nominal flow.
An air-aspirating medium expansion foam generator with a catalogue nominal flow of 1100 LPM at 3.5 kg/cm² branch-inlet pressure, for fixed and semi-fixed foam systems.
* Flow and range at 3.5 kg/cm² branch-inlet pressure; expansion using standard AFFF compound, as tabulated in the catalogue.
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The MEFG uses air aspiration to turn a proportioned foam solution into a medium-expansion foam discharge. Solution passes through a calibrated nozzle, inducing atmospheric air before moving through the stainless-steel foam-generating screen.
A matching inline inductor or suitable proportioning system supplies the required foam solution. The generator is intended for an engineered fixed or semi-fixed arrangement, with concentrate selection, inlet pressure and discharge clearance matched to the protected hazard.
The solution stream draws air through the inlet openings without moving mechanical parts.
A stainless-steel mesh forms the aspirated solution into medium-expansion foam.
A compatible inline inductor or proportioning system supplies the selected foam concentration.

Flow and range are tabulated at 3.5 kg/cm² pressure at the branch inlet. Expansion of 1:40 is specified using standard AFFF compound. These model conditions are distinct from the general 3.5–7 bar operating-pressure range.
The model performance table specifies 1:40 with standard AFFF. General catalogue text also quotes 1:35–1:50 and 1:40–1:200. Confirm the achievable expansion with the selected concentrate and operating conditions.
CONSTRUCTION
Component materials and arrangement from the selected product catalogue.
Stainless-steel body and foam-generating screen in the typical technical specification. The construction section also lists an aluminium-alloy body option; confirm the selected material.
Calibrated solution nozzle, air-induction chamber, inlet openings and foam discharge outlet.
The catalogue lists an ANSI Class 150 flanged inlet and threaded / flanged alternatives. Finish and mating connection follow the selected assembly.
OPERATION
Catalogue guidance used with the approved fire-protection system procedures and selected foam concentrate.
Follow the approved system layout, flush supply piping before installation and keep air inlets and the foam discharge path unobstructed.
The fire-protection system supplies the selected water and foam-concentrate mixture when activated.
Solution passes through the calibrated nozzle, induces atmospheric air and moves through the foam-generating mesh.
Foam discharges into the selected hazard area. Control operation and shutdown according to the approved system procedure.
