PRODUCT OVERVIEW

One flow. A choice of patterns.

The Frozenfire Constant Flow Nozzle combines a stated 600 LPM discharge with manual pattern adjustment, allowing a straight stream or a broad fog pattern from the same handline nozzle.

A hard anodized aluminium alloy body, ergonomic pistol grip and integrated shut-off bale support handling on the hose line. The catalogue describes automatic pressure compensation within the designed operating range; confirm the permissible pressure range and inlet configuration for the model you specify.

01

Constant flow

A 600 LPM configuration with pressure compensation within its designed operating range.

02

Pattern adjustment

A control ring adjusts the discharge from a straight stream to wide fog.

03

Bale shut-off

A manually operated ball valve provides flow on/off control.

04

Protected construction

Hard anodized aluminium alloy, a rubber bumper and an ergonomic grip.

OPERATING FEATURES

Control the flow and pattern.

The nozzle uses manual shut-off and pattern controls, with pressure compensation described for its designed operating range.

01

On / off

The bale handle operates the ball valve shut-off.

02

Straight stream

The pattern control ring provides a concentrated straight-stream setting.

03

Wide fog

The same ring adjusts the discharge to a wider fog pattern through the fog teeth.

INSPECTION & MAINTENANCE

Keep the nozzle
ready for service.

The product catalogue sets out the following inspection and care guidance. Keep the original document with your equipment records.

01Inspection before use
  • Inspect the body for damage or corrosion, and check the inlet coupling, locking lugs, fasteners and retaining pins.
  • Verify smooth movement of the bale handle and pattern control ring.
  • Check O-rings and rubber seals for cuts, wear or deformation.
02Cleaning and lubrication
  • Flush with clean fresh water after use, especially following foam, sea water, chemical or contaminated-water exposure. Work through the spray patterns while flushing.
  • Clean the exterior with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, steel brushes and aggressive solvents.
  • Apply a light coating of silicone-based or manufacturer-approved lubricant to the pattern ring, bale pivot points and moving joints. Avoid excess lubricant.
  • Do not lubricate the discharge or internal flow passages.
03Functional checks
  • Check for leakage at the inlet and shut-off valve, and verify smooth opening and closing.
  • Verify flow performance at the rated operating pressure and a uniform discharge across the pattern settings.
  • Test the nozzle after maintenance before returning it to operational service.
04Storage and replacement parts
  • Drain the nozzle and store it in a clean, dry, ventilated location, protected from sunlight, dust and corrosive chemicals.
  • Keep inlet protective caps fitted and protect the nozzle from impact or heavy loads.
  • Replace worn seals, gaskets, pins, handles or coupling components with genuine Frozenfire parts.
05Maintenance precautions
  • Completely depressurise the hose line before inspection or maintenance. Never dismantle a nozzle connected to a pressurised supply.
  • Do not modify components. Replace damaged parts promptly and have routine maintenance carried out by trained personnel.
