PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Direct the water. Control the shut-off.

The Frozenfire Constant Jet Nozzle delivers a straight stream through a 20 mm smooth bore. The catalogue specifies 500 LPM, a typical operating pressure of 7 bar and a 2½″ inlet connection.

A hard anodized aluminium alloy body, ergonomic pistol grip and bale-operated ball valve bring the nozzle controls together. Pressure compensation is described within the designed operating range; confirm that range for the selected supply configuration.

01

Smooth-bore stream

A 20 mm bore provides a concentrated straight-stream discharge.

02

500 LPM duty

The catalogue specifies a 500 LPM constant flow configuration.

03

Manual shut-off

A bale handle operates the ball valve for on/off control.

04

Connection choice

A 2½″ inlet with instantaneous, BS 336, NH, Storz or BSP options.

INSPECTION & MAINTENANCE

Keep the nozzle
ready for service.

The product catalogue sets out the following inspection and care guidance. Keep the original document with your equipment records.

01Inspection before use
  • Inspect the body for damage or corrosion, and check the inlet coupling, locking lugs, fasteners and retaining pins.
  • Check for smooth bale movement and inspect O-rings and seals for wear, cuts or deformation.
02Cleaning and lubrication
  • Flush thoroughly with clean fresh water after use, particularly after sea water or contaminated-water exposure.
  • Clean the exterior with a soft cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners, steel brushes and aggressive solvents.
  • Use silicone-based or manufacturer-approved lubricant sparingly on moving joints and bale pivots. Do not lubricate the discharge or internal flow passages.
03Functional checks
  • Check for leakage at the inlet and shut-off valve, and verify smooth opening and closing.
  • Check flow performance at the rated operating pressure and test the nozzle after maintenance before returning it to service.
04Storage and replacement parts
  • Drain the nozzle and store it in a clean, dry, ventilated location, protected from sunlight, dust and corrosive chemicals.
  • Keep inlet protective caps fitted and protect the nozzle from impact or heavy loads.
  • Replace worn seals, gaskets, pins, handles or coupling components with genuine Frozenfire parts.
05Maintenance precautions
  • Completely depressurise the hose line before inspection or maintenance. Never dismantle a nozzle connected to a pressurised supply.
  • Do not modify components. Replace damaged parts promptly and have routine maintenance carried out by trained personnel.
