PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Focused flow. Practical handling.

The Short Branch Pipe Nozzle channels pressurised water through a precision-machined smooth bore to form a coherent solid stream. Its compact body is designed for handling on a hose line in industrial, municipal and marine firefighting applications.

Choose a gunmetal, aluminium alloy or stainless steel body and an outlet size suited to the required flow. The smooth internal profile limits turbulence and hydraulic losses; the selected nozzle size and available water supply determine the final duty.

OPERATING PRINCIPLE

How the nozzle works.

Water pressure is converted into a concentrated jet as the flow passes through the smooth bore. The internal profile reduces turbulence before discharge.

01

Connect

Water enters from the hose through the instantaneous inlet coupling.

02

Guide

The internal passage directs the flow toward the precision-machined bore.

03

Discharge

The tip produces a concentrated solid stream for the selected nozzle size.

Before, during and after use.

Review the catalogue operating guidance with the instructions for your selected model and the applicable site procedures.

01Before use
  • Inspect the nozzle for cleanliness, damage and corrosion.
  • Connect the appropriate hose coupling and confirm that the connections are securely locked.
02During use
  • Hold the branch firmly with both hands while the supply is opened gradually.
  • Maintain secure control of the hose and nozzle throughout water discharge.
03After use
  • Close the water supply slowly to avoid water hammer.
  • Disconnect, drain, clean and dry the nozzle before storage.

INSPECTION & MAINTENANCE

Keep the nozzle
ready for service.

Inspect the waterway, connection and operating components as part of the equipment’s maintenance programme.

01Inspection & cleaning
  • Inspect before and after use for damage or corrosion.
  • Remove debris and scale from the internal bore. Check the inlet coupling and locking mechanism.
02Components & testing
  • Replace damaged seals, gaskets or couplings. Lubricate applicable threads and moving parts.
  • Carry out periodic hydrostatic pressure testing according to the applicable standards.
03Storage
  • Keep the nozzle clean and dry, away from corrosive chemicals and direct sunlight.
  • Continue routine inspection so the equipment is ready for service.
