PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Distributed water. Defined coverage.
The Water Curtain Nozzle directs water against a deflector plate to form a continuous fan-shaped water screen. It is intended for cooling and exposure protection between the hazard and nearby equipment or structures.
The mild-steel plate also forms the ground-standing base. A gunmetal or SS 304 / SS 316 adaptor connects to the delivery hose; firm positioning and a compatible water supply are essential to the installation.

OPERATING PRINCIPLE
How the nozzle works.
Water strikes the deflector plate and spreads into a broad fan. Supply pressure and unobstructed discharge passages determine the resulting curtain.
Position
Place the nozzle flat on firm, level ground.
Supply
Secure the hose and introduce the water supply gradually.
Form the curtain
Check that water strikes the plate evenly to form a continuous fan.

01Position & connect
- Set the plate on stable, level ground and orient it for the intended curtain.
- Secure the compatible hose coupling and lay the hose without kinks.
02Introduce the supply
- Keep personnel clear of the reaction area while the line is pressurised gradually.
- Check for stable positioning and an even, unobstructed water fan.
03Shut down
- Close the upstream supply gradually and relieve pressure before moving or disconnecting.
- Inspect and clean the plate and discharge gap after operation.

01After use
- Flush with clean fresh water and dry the plate and adaptor.
- Inspect the black coating; repair damaged protection using the approved coating system.

- Check inlet shoulders, seals and coupling engagement.
- Clear stones, rust or deposits from the discharge slot without damaging it.
03Storage & readiness
- Store clean and dry, off the ground in a rack or cabinet.
- Investigate unstable positioning, leakage or an uneven fan before the next use.
