CONFIGURATION & SELECTION

The details that
define your assembly.

Discuss these range options with your enquiry. The final assembly and supplied accessories follow the agreed configuration.

01

Construction & finish

Carbon steel or stainless-steel construction as selected. SS 304 / SS 316 and marine-grade epoxy are optional range configurations; confirm availability for the chosen model.

02

Connections & height

Confirm mating flange size and drilling, required outlet arrangement and installation height. Flanged or threaded inlet options are listed in the range catalogue.

03

Barrel & drainage

Wet-barrel or dry-barrel configurations are available for discussion. An automatic drain valve is an option for the dry-barrel design.

04

Site accessories

Discuss tamper-proof or lockable outlet caps, reflective markings and a pressure-gauge connection. Accessories are supplied according to the agreed configuration.

05

Pumper interface

Confirm the selected 100 mm or 150 mm inlet, fire-brigade coupling, pumper arrangement and non-return valve requirements against the intended fire appliance.

This page presents the double-headed model. The catalogue also lists alternative two- or four-way arrangements. Confirm the final hose outlets, pumper arrangement and inlet size on the approved assembly drawing.

Discuss a configuration

Share the outlet arrangement, body and valve materials, inlet flange details, required height, operating pressure, quantity and delivery location. Include the installation drawing where available.

OPERATION

Connect. Control.
Return to standby.

Catalogue guidance for trained personnel following the applicable hydrant-system procedures.

  1. 01

    Inspect the assembly

Check the stand post, valves and accessible connections before use. Ensure the operating area and hose route are clear.

  2. 02

    Connect the hose

Remove the outlet cap and securely connect a compatible hose. Check the coupling engagement and hose arrangement.

  3. 03

    Open gradually

Operate the handwheel gradually in the indicated opening direction and regulate the water supply for the required duty.

  4. 04

    Close & restore

Close gradually after use. Confirm that residual pressure has been relieved before disconnecting, replace caps and check for leakage.

Pumper connection

A compatible fire appliance connects to the selected pumper inlet to supplement the fire-water supply. Verify the coupling and non-return arrangement, and follow the approved fire-appliance and site operating procedure.

Avoid sudden valve operation. Secure hose connections before establishing flow and confirm that residual pressure has been relieved before disconnection.
